Last week, the Pro Series Golf N-Gage game’s page went offline and the downloads were pulled up from the Showroom leaving all the PSG owners stranded in case they wanted to re-install the game. But golf fans need not worry, as N-Gage is all set to get treated to another round of Golfing action with EA Sports™ Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
Recently, Ewan explained “Why the Ovi Store is still total bollocks”. But he only carried one part of the story. The entire story is even more bollocks.
Read on for my take on why the Ovi Store is even more bollocks and the mess that was the Ovi Store & N86 compatibility.

The N86 does it again. This phone simply doesn’t stop surprising me. This time what I stumbled upon is Time Lapse photography in the Camera on the N86. N86 is Nokia’s first 8 Mega Pixel camera phone which made a leap not only in the mega pixel count, but also the camera optics & sensor as explained by Steve from AllAboutSymbian here – Quantifying the improvements in the Nokia N86’s camera.
A few days back, we brought you news about the new N86 firmware v20 update which packed in quite a few camera improvements according to the release notes. To check the “Improved Close-up Focus”, I went ahead and shot a few close up mode photos. The results are more than decent to say the least. I, personally, was stunned by the clarity of the shots & the crisp close ups.

Nokia N86 8MP has received the much awaited v20 firmware update bringing improvements to the camera including “Face Detection” as well as overall reliability improvements & bug fixes. This is a major firmware update & I would recommend all the N86 owners to update their phones without delay. Bought a new phone which came with Nokia Messaging integrated with the default messaging client for emails? You would have noticed that there is no direct access to Mail for Exchange client on these phones like on the other S60v3 phones. That is because Nokia has integrated the Mail for Exchange client with Nokia Messaging on the new S60v3 FP2 phones like the Nokia E75, Nokia E72, Nokia E55, Nokia E52, Nokia N86 8MP and Nokia 6710 Navigator. Due to this, users could not directly configure a Mail for Exchange profile for Google Contacts & Calendar syncing.
