Last week, the Pro Series Golf N-Gage game’s page went offline and the downloads were pulled up from the Showroom leaving all the PSG owners stranded in case they wanted to re-install the game. Fresh on the heels of the v20 firmware update for the N86, the Ovi Store client has also been updated for the N86. The version number of the latest update of the client available for download is 1.05(315). At the Nokia World 2009, Nokia had announced the availability of Ovi Maps beta for mobile for the S60v5 Touch Screen phones. Till now, it was only available via the Nokia Betalabs.
Now, Ovi Maps beta for mobile is also available from the Ovi Store.

On the 24th of August, Microsoft had announced a new software that allows “feature phones” to run popular mobile phone applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger and Mobile Wallet. It was named Microsoft OneApp. You can read the press release here.

If you were a S60 user since the S60v1 & v2 times, chances are you are already aware of a software called FExplorer. It was the swiss knife for your S60 phones. But the software was lost in transition with the platform & security changes introduced by S60v3. Although Dominique released a few betas for S60v3, It never really took off.
That was when SBSH came in. SBSH, along with Dominique, started working on a new, modular version of FExplorer with support for Tools & Utilities.

Just yesterday, we tweeted about how long it had been since new content had been added to the Ovi Store. Seems like the Ovi Store guys heard us as a fresh lot of new items & updates were pushed to the store late yesterday night. Amongst the slew up new apps available at the store now is the official S60 version of the YouTube mobile app. Although the app had been available from the YouTube mobile site for a few countries, the store version seems to be available for even more countries.
